How History Was Made

S4CD was honored to play a key role in bringing the historic “Economists’ Statement on Carbon Dividends” to fruition. Over 50+ of our student volunteers spent their winter breaks assembling a database of every economist in the country.

Using this data, Dr. Janet Yellen beamed out a nationwide invitation in January. As revealed last week, the response was incredible with more than 3500+ economists—the largest number in history—signing-on in support.
