S4CD at the CCL National Conference
The annual Citizens Climate Lobby Conference in Washington DC is the largest annual gathering of carbon dividends champions. It is also one of our favorite events of the year. The conference brings together 1000+ citizen activists from around the country—and across the political spectrum—to learn about the latest developments in climate policy and politics, connect with friends and peers, and advocate for the carbon dividends solution.
10+ members of the S4CD summer team were honored to be in attendance at this year’s conference. From sessions on youth climate leadership, to discussions about effective climate messaging, to presentations on the latest political developments around climate policy, it was an exciting and productive three days.
As always, we ended the conference with renewed enthusiasm for the carbon dividends cause and with increasing confidence that a bipartisan climate breakthrough is within reach. Thanks to the CCL team for all of their work to make the conference a reality.
