Students for Carbon Dividends (S4CD) is a bipartisan climate organization that engages students, campus VIPs, and youth leaders around the breakthrough Carbon Dividends solution. This cornerstone strategy is fast-emerging as the leading bipartisan climate proposal in the United States. It has earned the support of the broadest climate coalition in American history, as well as the endorsement of the largest statement of economists of all time. As the generation most affected by climate instability, we are working to catapult the carbon dividends solution into the national spotlight, deliver a climate victory, and safeguard health and prosperity for our generation and the many still to come.

S4CD is searching for a talented Video Director to lead the filming, editing, and production of video content across our organization. As S4CD rapidly expands, the Video Director will be instrumental in guiding the organization’s video and digital production as we engage youth leaders nationwide.

Candidates should have excellent filming and video editing skills, a knack for creative story-telling, and experience with Adobe Premiere and/or Final Cut Pro. The most competitive applicants will demonstrate directorial and leadership abilities, as well as a keen eye for cinematic stagecraft and spectacle. Photography and graphic design skills are not necessary, but strongly preferred.

Candidates should be passionate, creative, and self-driven. This part or full-time role can be remote and/or Washington DC-based. Post-pandemic, applicants should expect to travel up to 30% of the time.
